Thanks, but I don't get my candidates to complete application forms at registration; I interview them.
I'm looking for a form that covers data protection statement, criminal conviction, disabilitiy check etc. Something that candidates sign to say that they recognise that their details will be kept on file and sent to third parties and that I'm an equal ops employer...
I can do one myself, but I wondered if anyone knew the legal requirement for the actual detail. |

I'm breaking the law! That's a bold and slightly ridiculous statement. You're completely missing the point. An 'application' form is what someone fills in to apply for a specific job. i.e. Applying....application....you get the point.
Candidates don't always apply for specific jobs; sometimes they just want to register. In which case I would interview them and then get them to fill in a form (NOT an application form) to state that they are happy for me to work on their behalf.
Additionally I haven't even interviewed any candidates yet. I am ASKING (!!!) about a disclaimer form so that I am prepared for when I do. |

Liz - apologies if you feel disgruntled but your terminolgy lead me to underdstand your application form was your registration form

So at what point do they complete a registration form?
Application/registration basically the same thing - at some point you must get them to confirm these details along with many others and the most simple way would be a full registration/application form.
No disrespect Liz but for someone wanting help you are very sarcastic... one could say that an application for is for applying to join an agency.... doesnt have to be just for a specific job!
Perhaps we have got the wrong end of each others sticks but more thanhappy to send you a copy form if you want one |
