Hi Alex,
Why not Bond? They have a new web based system? I think most of the systems we saw could be hosted but the better ones were written in windows. The true web ones IE: accessed through a web brocwser lacked functionality and were too basic. The integration with Outlook and word was also clunky compared to the hosted, server clients apps?
Good luck and feel free to e-mail me for a list of the ones we saw for a guide.

Hi
I run an independent IT Support company for the Recruitment industry and we work with several Recruitment Database systems.
I would say that looking at your requirements there are many out there that will meet your needs but based on the fact that you want it hosted and based on recommendations I have had from clients and ex colleagues (and from knowing the systems quite well), I would recommend Bullhorn or RDB Pro.
Bullhorn is particularly good for your start up business as it incorporates an email system and is fully hosted for you.
RDB Pro is a server / client product but RDB Pro will host this for you and also offer email hosting I believe.
These two are both cost effective options.
Bond v11 is relatively new for me and I have heard mixed reviews about this. We have a lot of clients on the older Bond system v8 or v9 some are thinking of moving, some are happy, but the web based v11 is supposed to be far superior to this, however, I have also heard that cost could be an issue with this system...I will let you investigate this further.
Anyway, I hope this input is of use.
Andy

Hi - It probably depends on the type of business you are delivering. I do a lot of search based work and found that invenias (www.invenias.com) works really well for me. It works from within outlook making is simpler to manage email and contact history.
