AllAboutIT who sell a recruitment product called AgencyDB has developed a KPI tracker as part of their software. You can set KPIs based on individual consultants by week or by month. The consultant will then be able to view these KPIs and what they have achieved in real time as part of the the user interface. It has worked very well in getting consultants to understand the KPI's set and motivate them to achieve all the targets set. |

Andy,
Mark Whitby (sure) and Bill Boorman (pretty sure) have pdf templates that you can download for free to get you started.
Remember, 'you get what you measure' - so I wouldn't bother with 'dials' as such although it can indicate difficulty getting past gatekeepers etc if the dials are high and the conversations low.
A list something like:
Conversations (significant business conversations)
Vacancies picked up (you can grade these if you want to get posh)
1st Interviews arranged
2nd Interviews arranged
placements
with the days as columns
You didn't say if it's for you or monitoring others? Most mainstream recruitment software has KPI reports built in. But there's no need in my mind to over compilcate things.
Hope that helps
